Chizz Chizem has high hopes for 2026

US-based dancehall fusion artiste Chizz Chizem believes that 2026 will be her breakout year.

"I've been doing music professionally since 2012, and I've learnt a lot about the business. I've also improved tremendously as a recording artiste and songwriter. I've paid my dues and I am ready to take my career to the highest levels in the music business. I'm putting in the work; this year is my year," she said.

The singjay is currently promoting two new singles, Only You featuring Chullu Blaxx and Nite Monster.

"I'm pleased with the response to these two singles, especially Only You. It's getting rotation in Jamaica, the States, and the UK. I'm also getting a lot of positive feedback from fans about it via social media. I'm grateful to everyone who's supporting music and my career," she said.

Chizz Chizem is currently busy in the studio working on her debut EP.

"I'm doing a lot of work in the studio with my engineer Mac Niff. He created the beats and handled the recording and mixing for Only You and Nite Monster," he said.

Chizz Chizem, given name Shanet Chisholm, was born and raised in Manchester. She migrated to the US eight years ago, where she currently resides in Cincinnati, Ohio. She launched her recording career in 2012 with a single titled Struggles which was produced by Ralston Barrett.
